While remixes of Passion Pit’s Sleepyhead are becoming less exciting, this cover breathes fresh life into the track. Ellie Goulding first came onto my radar with her cover of Bon Iver’s “Wolves”, the song managed to take the already etherreal track to a more minimally beautiful sound.

With the help of Starsmith, she mellows out the Passion Pit boys and gives the song a much more laid back make over. It’s great to hear an excellent acoustic musician take on electro beats flawlessly.
