Calling any original work

So since the “Museletter” kind of fell through, we decided to encourage posting original work on the Blog. Tag these works with “Originals” and they will eventually be collected into a category titled, appropriately, “Originals.” 

Love: An Argument

(From a series of arguments regarding the origin of certain human things.) 

If love began 

In a cave between two

As a defense against 

The wordless world, then

The original lovers

Had to have had

An impossible task: 

Explaining to others 

What in the hell 

Was going on

When the cave was closed

On rainy nights

And only the two 

Could sleep inside.
