Kid Cudi & Dan Black - Symphonies Video
I got turned onto Dan Black last spring with his cover of Notorious BIG’s Hypnotize.
He took the same beat, made an original track called Symphonies, and did a remix with Kid Cudi. That’s a lot of mileage out of one track.
Anyways, the music video for the Kid Cudi remix came out this week and I think it’s pretty fresh. Like Justice’s DVNO video’s use of logos, Black and Cudi pay homage to a wide variety of movie title sequences.

Pursuit of Happiness
Kid Cudi recently released a new (alternate) video to his song Pursuit of Happiness. In it, Cudi battles his nightmares attempting to remove himself from the loop of constant terror and cold sweats. The song itself is already amazing, but combined with very artistic visual portrayal it has become one of the best videos that I have ever seen.
Also, Ratatat member Mike Stroud gets some shine in the video… Check it out!

Cleveland’s Kid Cudi got everyone talking with “Day N Nite”, then won over the entire Mill with “Pursuit of Happiness,” his indieful collaboration with Ratatat and MGMT. The music video for the song has just been released and features champagne, beautiful women, and Drake.
Cudi seems melancholy… probably because he misses the Cleve…

Kid Cudi - Came Along
This Kid Cudi track was one of the first real jams of the summer for me but I only found the video this week.
The original (mp3 here) has a much more relaxed beat compared to the video edit, but I like the western style and the kid Kid Cudi is sick.
