The Red Solo Cup: Every Party’s Most Popular Guest
This is an art and design article from NPR that discusses the impact of the Red Solo Cup over the last 75 years and how it has now become a staple at parties everywhere. Apart from being a humorous read, the article discusses how the cup has changed it’s shape over the past few decades, with added grips and a sturdier base, the grips actually stop the cup slipping out of your hand when your drink spills over. Handy, eh?
Did anyone else know that Toby Keith wrote an ode to the cup, titled Red Solo Cup? News to me. Go check out the article, if nothing else it will give you a new found appreciation for the infamous Red Solo Cup.

The Mile High Book Club: Great Airplane Reads
