so i seem to be the only one posting as of late, maybe I’m just the only one whose still stuck at home and bored, but anyways, I felt compelled to post the trailer for “Cyrus,” which premieres at Sundance this week. “Cyrus” stars John C. Reilly, Marisa Tomei, Jonah Hill, and the love of my life-Catherine Keener. It looks hilarious, and the trailer has some great songs in it, including “Animal” and “Home.” The movie is the first studio film from the Duplass brothers, who helped create the “mumblecore” movement during the beginning of 00’s. I just recently saw “Humpday,” which stars Mark Duplass (one half of the directing team) and it was funny as hell but also extremely insightful, I suggest you all check it out.
Hot Chip

Hot Chip has a new cd, One Life Stand, coming out this February. Tracks have been slowly making their way online for the past few months, I just heard the song “We Have Love” and felt compelled to post it up here because its amazing. Enjoy.
R.I.P JAY REATARD
he wasn’t everyones cup of tea but i loved him and will most definitely miss him, it was probably pills, as is the case with every person dying these days, too many good people are dying, this sucks a lot
I’m like my mother. I stereotype- it’s faster
I don’t know if someone has already posted this because it seems like one of those things that somebody would put up here…Flavorwire came up with a list that stereotypes people by their favorite indie band, its pretty damn funny and pretty damn true
great 90’s show
great 90’s song
YES.ARCADE FIRE.YES.
The first six months of 2010 are going to be unreal for music lovers, with new albums expected from LCD Soundsystem, Yeasayer, MGMT, Los Campesinos!, Vampire Weekend, Beach House, Spoon, Interpol, and now Arcade Fire, life is about to get a hell of lot sexier.

I posted Sleigh Bells “Crown on the Ground” a few week ago and as anybody who has been to late night at the Hall recently knows, shit kills on the dancefloor. This is another song by them and I think is a great compliment to “Crown…” as it shows their range, marking them as the anti-one trick pony. The blog Pretty Much Amazing, described them as a cross between Wavves and Beyonce, which i think is strangely the perfect way to describe their distorted, lo-fi R&B sound. The rest of their songs are floating around on the internet so check them out, these guys have my vote for the Mill concert this winter.
