CUPCAKE CANNON! I posted this for 2 reasons- 1. I want one of these for the mill. Imagine if you were dancing to Theophilus and someone shot you with a cupcake cannon and then you just kept dancing and frosting was everywhere and it was totally fkkn awesome?

2. Doesn’t the first guy getting shot look exactly like Chase? WEIRD!?

This is the new Sleigh Bells song “Tell ‘Em.” And this is my reaction to the fact that I didn’t come see them at the mill when I had a chance

So it’s clear by now that Frenchkiss records are incredibly on point with everyone they sign. Suckers is no exception. Here is a cover they’ve done of The Raveonettes “Boys Who Rape” and it is almost better than the original. They are opening for Local Natives on tour, and Paul Hanly at Fkr told me the album is 10x better than the live show. BUT, the live show is awesome, so I have no idea how to comprehend what the album will sound like. If you like this, check out their other songs on the myspace or anywhere really, the blog hype is HUUUUGE.

This is the music video for Efterklang’s “Modern Drift”, the new single off their album Magic Chairs coming out on 2/22 (we in room 222- thats right, yall just got rickrossed). It’s like the most beautifully soundtracked episode of Planet Earth possible (sorry Sigourney). The lyrics are poignant and contrast perfectly with the simple piano backing. This song will definitely be in the mix often as winter turns to spring. Let me know what you think Millionaires.
