I don’t think acoustic music gets enough love on this blog… so I’m going to try to start sharing my weekly favorites. To start off, this is a good friend of mine from high school who just got signed to intelligent noise records. She’s been touring with people like Joshua James, Justin Townes Earle, and other big shots from LA’s Hotel Cafe scene. She’s also been featured on a bunch of TV shows like Private Practice and radio stations like the acclaimed KCRW

For a debut this strong, there is little doubt that people will take notice of Land’s impressive talents. It seems many already have, as Orange Days On Lemon Street has been on iTunes’ most downloaded folk albums since the record’s release in late March.
