Sophomore Jocelyn Schur has put together a panel/debate regarding pornography which will take place Tuesday the 21st at 12:15pm. If you usually find yourself put-off by politically loaded words like “sexism”, do not despair or let that keep you from this event. Joceyln’s intention is not to use this panel to point fingers. She has created this event to permit an honest public discussion that rarely happens publically—or, for that matter—to permit an honest public discussion that may not occur in private, given the varied opinions of the panel and the discussion’s topic. She’s a friend of mine and I’ve captured some glimpses of this event’s development—it will not disappoint. I know she’s worked hard on this and she deserves an audience. Let’s use this as an oppurtunity to show that The MIll supports the students on campus who do more than float around in what’s made easy and readily available.
