Just to pay homage to one of the starters of “indie” music, Pavement. Here is a video of “Father to a Sister of a Thought.” They were around from 1989-1999 and are the pioneers of alternative rock. The reason they’ve been re-brought to my attention is because they will be releasing a compilation disc soon this year. Matador records is currently running a contest for fans to see who can guess the track listings. Anyhow, take a listen.
***EPIC DUBSTEP***
I was just writing about THE TEMPER TRAP and noticed another post underneath so snaps to that post and LISTEN TO THIS OTHER REMIX OF SCIENCE OF FEAR, EPIC DUBSTEP.
I CAN’T TELL WHICH ONE I LIKE MORE.

Back when Phish had their ENERGY.
In light of NIN’s withdrawal from United States touring (Trent made reference to this @ Bonnaroo), I thought I’d post this to get some rec. for an awesome rock band—saw them in Jersey in early June, my face melted off.
